At LEDC, we are here to help, and we can teach you our secrets to making that dream of owning a business come true. Every month we will be hosting a 4-part series of training modules, free of cost, in English and Spanish, virtually and in person, for you to learn how to launch your business and become a successful entrepreneur.
Our Small Business Coaches will teach you different ways to start your enterprise, how to get your first clients, where to get financing and additional marketing tools you can use for a successful launch.
As a glimpse of what you will be learning in each module, we are happy to provide four practical tips to consider.
No. 1: How to prepare the ground for success
Great design is the foundation of a great business and is key to defining your brand. Your brand is there to serve your audience, and it is up to you to communicate your branding strategically, clearly, and effectively. You can design and thoroughly represent your brand in many ways. You can start by organizing your ideas, studying your market, analyzing your competitor, and examining your audience.
No. 2: The Three Means to Getting Your First New Customers
Focused Hustle, Networking, and Planning
You can’t be everywhere or be all things to all people. Learn to be selective about your market and your customers. Focus your time, effort, and resources on those targets that will provide the best return for your business and vision.
No. 3: Number One Rule in Business - Don’t run out of money
You need to understand the numbers part of your business forwards and backward. Learn some basics of how to price your e, understand breakeven points, and create preliminary financial projections so you can figure out how much your business will cost you to start.
No. 4: Marketing to YOUR Target Audience
By trying to reach everyone, you may get no one. Learn how to craft your message to your ideal customer and how to create a marketing plan. A thorough marketing plan lets you map out the tools you need to reach your audience and launch your business.
