Anxiety is a growing problem throughout the country. It is estimated that over 40 million adults in the U.S. experience anxiety symptoms. Entrepreneurs encounter challenges that often lead to anxiety, such as the absence of a regular paycheck, unexpected setbacks, market fluctuations, and inevitable risk-taking required to grow their business. So, what’s an entrepreneur to do? It’s time to be proactive. Anxiety is something that can be overcome so you can thrive in your business and life.


In this interactive workshop you will learn to:

- Identify the psychological and social risks that entrepreneurship brings

- Recognize signs and symptoms of anxiety

- Implement science-based strategies to recharge and increase a sense of calmness when dealing with stressful situations

- Develop efficient coping strategies to protect your brain from anxiety

- Cultivate emotional resilience, self-control, and self-compassion


Presented by MSc. Luisa Torres: she has an extensive background in psychology and has earned Master's Degree in Neuroscience and Applied Positive Psychology. With more than 14 years of experience, Luisa has designed and facilitated wellness programs, workshops, and training for individuals and institutions in more than 10 countries worldwide including Kenya, Colombia, the UK, Mexico, and the USA. She is the Founder and CEO of Happiher, a training organization focused on helping women to develop the skills and capabilities necessary to succeed and feel fulfilled.
