The local business owners were recognized by the Latino Economic Development Center, Bon Secours Community Works, Kaiser Permanente, and Anchor Group during a graduation ceremony on October 26 at Kirby Lane Park in Baltimore, Maryland.
2021 Future Baltimore Small Business Accelerator Cohort Graduates
Twelve growing businesses graduated from the Future Baltimore Small Business Accelerator on Tuesday, October 26, at Kirby Lane Park in Baltimore, Maryland.
The accelerator is a partnership between the Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC), Bon Secours Community Works, Kaiser Permanente, and Anchor Group. Its goal is to promote social and economic growth in West Baltimore by providing area entrepreneurs with the space, tools, and resources needed to grow successful businesses that ultimately benefit the communities in which they operate.
This year's cohort included a diverse set of businesses that received free consulting services, access to financing, and training on topics ranging from accounting, marketing, operations, and many others taught by industry professionals and experts.
