POWER Coalition Outreach Event
Prioritizing Our Women’s Economic Rise (POWER), a program sponsored by JPMorgan Chase & Co to support Black and Latina Women in West Baltimore, will be having a general awareness event on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022, at the University of Maryland Baltimore’s Life Sciences Conference Center.
The POWER program was designed to create effective and accessible ways to accelerate wealth-building in West Baltimore by investing in entrepreneurship, workforce training, and supporting Black and Latina women and developers to disrupt inequitable systems.
The project is led by community-based organizations including Baltimore Community Lending, Black Women Build Baltimore, Building Trades Council, Parity Homes, Byte Back and the Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC).
The “POWER COALITION OUTREACH EVENT” aims to acknowledge JPMorgan Chase & Co. as the project funder, showcase program partners' and participants' progress, and spread the word for potential new participants, for the next round of programming.
We would like you to join us for our next visibility event on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022, from 11am - 1pm, at the University of Maryland Baltimore’s Life Sciences Conference Center. The event will raise awareness about the impact of POWER, acknowledge the program’s partners and showcase available resources to cultivate wealth-building among Black and Latina women in the area. You can visit our eventbrite page for more details and confirm your attendance.
