Interested in becoming a First Time Homebuyer in DC or MD?

This class is available via ZOOM in two sessions. 

Part 1: Friday, June 12, 2020 - 3:00 pm a 6:00 pm

Part 2: Saturday, June 13, 2020 - 9:30 am a 12:30 pm

During these sessions you will learn how to navigate the process of buying a home in DC and MD, and how to obtain a good mortgage. You will also learn how your credit history, personal budget, and personal finances could affect your future success. LEDC invites different experts including a loan officer, home inspector, real estate agent, and insurance agent to explain the different parts of the home buying process.

As a HUD-approved Housing Counseling agency, this class complies with the requirements of government and lender programs that require first-time homebuyer training. In order to obtain your certificate, you must also attend an individual counseling session with a Housing Counselor after the completion of both sessions has been confirmed. 

By registering for this class you agree to participate in two sessions. Your absence from one of the sessions will result in rescheduling which will delay your eligibility for the certificate that will allow you to qualify for special programs for first time homebuyers.
