More about the event...
This Fall, a group of talented women were selected to participate in EWI's (Online) Entrepreneur Training for Success (ETS) program. Classes began in late September with women participating from D.C. & Montgomery County in 3 different cohorts. Historically, our ETS program is offered in-person at LEDC's regional offices, however due to COVID-19, pivoted our program to an online format.
Each cohort is lead by an EWI trainer and is supported by a group of volunteer mentors and guest speakers that have generously given their time, experience and expertise to help our Entrepreneurs learn the ins and outs of business ownership. After 3 months and more than 60 hours of training to gain knowledge, acquire tools and develop their business plans, they are ready to share their business ideas with the world!
During this event, you will learn all about Empowered Women International and our programs. Each ETS program graduate will have 3 minutes to pitch their business to the "virtual" audience . After each pitch, we will have a panel of guest judges who will ask exploratory questions and provide real-time feedback for our Entrepreneurs.
We are so proud and impressed with the graduate's commitment to the ETS program, even more so during this challenging time. After each pitch event, we will send an email with the contact information and details of each business presented so that you can continue to support them!
