Spring 2020- EWI Virtual Business Plan Pitch Event

Spring 2020- EWI Virtual Business Plan Pitch Event

This Spring, a group of talented women were selected to participate in

EWI's 1st ever Online Entrepreneur Training for Success (ETS) program.

Classes began in late April with women participating from Northern Virginia, D.C., Montgomery County & Baltimore in 3 different cohorts- Arlington, Rockville & Baltimore.

Historically, our ETS program is offered in-person at LEDC's regional offices, however due to COVID-19, we were forced to pivot our program to an online format. As you can imagine, we were nervous about taking our program online for the 1st time during a pandemic, but the women were all on-board and ready to get started on their journey towards Entrepreneurship.

Each cohort is lead by an EWI trainer and is supported by a group of volunteer mentors and guest speakers that have generously given their time, experience and expertise to help our Entrepreneurs learn the ins and outs of business ownership.

After 3 months and more than 60 hours of training to gain knowledge, acquire tools and develop their business plans, they are ready to share their business ideas with the world!

We are so proud and impressed with the graduate's commitment to the ETS program, even more so during this challenging time. Please join us in celebrating our Spring 2020 Entrepreneur Training for Success graduates at...

EWI's 1st Virtual Business Plan Pitch Event

Each cohort will have their own pitch event dates and will take place virtually on Zoom from 6:30 pm on:

Wed, July 29- Baltimore Click HERE to RSVP for the Baltimore Pitch Event

During this event, you will learn all about Empowered Women International and our programs. Then, each ETS program graduate will have 4 minutes to pitch their business to the "virtual" audience . After each pitch, we will have a panel of guest judges who will ask exploratory questions and provide real-time feedback for our Entrepreneurs.

After each pitch event, we will send an email with the contact information and details of each business presented so that you can continue to support them!

We encourage you to attend if...
