On Sunday, December 8, 2019, the 7th Annual Holiday Market will return to the Silver Spring Civic Center in Silver Spring, Maryland, to offer shoppers the opportunity to buy from local, women-owned small businesses!
The marketplace will include over 30 local women artisans and food vendors who offer a distinctive and diverse selection of beautiful crafts, jewelry, candles, food gifts, fine art, and more.

Here is a glimpse at some of the vendors you can expect:

Dulceology: The artisan bakery specializes in handcrafted Alfajor cookies and Latin sweets inspired by an old family recipe book. The bakery will be selling Alfajor gift boxes, artisan chocolate boxes, Dulceology aprons, and prepackaged dulce de leche and guava Jams.

Inaivu: The socially responsible business offers unique home and lifestyle accessories including handmade tableware, cushion covers, brass and beaded jewelry, and bags made by artisans in East Africa.

Lewi Café: Lewi Café offers a farm-to-cup coffee experience for coffee lovers. Their baskets include beverage cups, coffee beans, reusable bags, and gift cards.

Sungh: Sungh offers handmade crafts and gift items from around the world, including sheep and camel wool rugs, handwoven cotton stoles, brass bombshell casing jewelry, and upcycled handmade women's clothing.

Marketplace vendors are women from the Greater DC Metro area who have received training, support, and mentorship from EWI and LEDC to be able to overcome hurdles they face as women.
