Interested in buying your first home? 

In this group workshop you will learn how to successfully navigate each step of the home-buying process in DC or Maryland and obtain a smart mortgage. You will also learn how your credit, personal budgeting, and personal finances impact your future success. LEDC invites a host of speakers --among them a loan officer, real estate agent, insurance agent, and home inspector - to provide an instructional walk-through of the homeownership process. Information will also be provided on programs to assist first-time homebuyers in DC and MD.  
This training meets the requirements for lender and government programs that require first time homebuyer education from a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency. 

Light breakfast and lunch are provided courtesy of the speakers. You are allowed to bring your own food. 

We do not provide childcare, please make the proper arrangements.

Price: $50 for single & $75 for couple.

After completing the class, you will have to complete an individual counseling session scheduled for a later date to receive your certificate. There is no fee for individual counseling, following the training.
