Daniela joined LEDC in 2021 as a Tenant Services Coordinator, she helped the community by assisting tenants in filing applications for rental assistance programs in the District of Columbia, as well as outreach programs such as LIHEAP/ECOS and SNAP by supporting tenants virtually and in person and providing referral services for all tenants in need of assistance linking them to appropriate resources. Prior to joining the team, Daniela worked at LEDC as a STAY DC connector. Some of her responsibilities included conducting outreach events, covering clinics, helping tenants fill out applications for the STAY DC program, uploading documents, and contacting landlords.
In October 2022, her position was upgraded to Finance Assistance, where her responsibilities consisted of assisting the finance department in the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, including financial data entry, filing, and expense reporting.
Currently, in her new position as Accounts Payable Administrator, Daniela is responsible for assisting the finance department with all aspects of accounts payable, filing, and expense reporting. As well as helping the staff with SAGE, Intact, and Emburse.
She is currently studying Business Administration with HR Management at Trinity Washington University. Her hobbies include watching movies, listening to music , playing the saxophone, traveling, and enjoying time with friends and her cat, Latino.
