The Coalition for the Fair Redevelopment of Wheaton is a collection of Montgomery County residents, small business owners, and nonprofits that seek to ensure that the existing community is able to benefit from the redevelopment project of Wheaton's downtown.

The Coalition is composed of more than 1,200 supporters including Montgomery County residents, Wheaton small businesses, patients receiving services within the Mid-County Regional Services Center, and nonprofits including LEDC, CASA de Maryland, Impact Silver Spring, and Proyecto Salud.

After successfully advocating in 2012 for key planning studies and the strengthening of small business financial assistance legislation, the Coalition is now calling for a “written pledge” for the existing Wheaton community and full, adequate funding for the Small Business Assistance Program.
