Carlos Quiroz is an experienced professional with more than 20 years of experience developing strong relationships with governmental and non-governmental organizations. He holds a B.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering from the ITESM Campus Querétaro in Mexico and a Master's Degree in International Business Management from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. In 2014, he moved from Mexico with his family to Puerto Rico to support his wife’s professional growth with a biotechnology seed company. Since then, Carlos has been working on various economic development projects for other non-profit organizations in the implementation of such programs and writing and submitting grant applications.

With a deep understanding of the region's (Latin America and the Caribbean) business practices, Carlos has developed a trustworthy network of entrepreneurs, executives, and policymakers to help him achieve his professional goals. Now at LEDC, Carlos serves as Director of Puerto Rico Programs to lead the expansion of our presence and impact in Puerto Rico in close collaboration with other leadership team members to ensure programmatic and administrative goals are met in our Puerto Rico office.
