Carlos Brown
Direct Community Investments Program Manager
Carlos is a Direct Community Investments Program Manager at LEDC. He has been with the Direct Community Investments team since the inception of the department. He has partaken in several different grant programs throughout DC, Maryland, and Virginia. He was part of the team when they reached the one hundred million dollar disbursement milestone in grants for small businesses.
Prior to joining the team, Carlos was with the LEDC Small Business Program as a loan officer and intake coordinator. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in International Studies with a focus on business. Carlos was born in Mexico and has used his Mexican roots to integrate himself into the diverse community that is the DMV.
