Ashley Bergeron
Director of Human Resources
Ashley Bergeron joined LEDC in the fall of 2023 as the organization’s first ever Human Resources Director. As the HR Director, she leads strategic initiatives in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development, ensuring the alignment of human resources practices with the overall goals and success of the organization. Ashley primarily grew up in the picturesque state of Maine and attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle where she studied psychology.
In 2011, she embarked on a rewarding path of service by joining City Year, an AmeriCorps program, where she worked with high school freshmen in Sheepshead Bay. That year of service with City Year instilled a deep sense of civic responsibility and allowed her to hone necessary skills and a commitment to making a positive impact on communities. Ashley has over 11 years of experience in the nonprofit and private sectors which brings a unique blend of empathy and strategic thinking to employee relations, talent acquisition and organizational development.
Beyond her role in HR, Ashley is involved in continuous learning and professional development and loves spending time watching documentaries on anything and everything, and going on adventures with her dog, Annabelle.
