Leadership Montgomery SELECTS Ness Perry for the 2025 EMERGING LEADERS Program

Rockville, MD August 2, 2024– The Latino Economic Development Center today announced that Ness Perry has been selected to participate in the 2025 Emerging Leaders (EL) program of Leadership Montgomery (LM). Ness Perry is the Advocacy Specialist at The Latino Economic Development Center where they support the Small Business Technical Assistance teams in developing policy strategies that support small business growth and resiliency in Montgomery and Prince George’s County, and Washington, D.C.

“I’m excited to join such a dynamic and robust leadership program. Following the footsteps of my colleague, Maria Teresa Llanos, The Latino Economic Development Center is lucky to have two Emerging Leaders chosen to consecutively participate in Leadership Montgomery programming.” – Ness Perry

LM, a Montgomery County-based community leadership organization, fosters cross-sector collaboration to address complex county issues through its programs and services. Beginning in September, class participants will attend sessions to develop their leadership and enhance their professional development skills, preparing them to build thriving and inclusive communities in Montgomery County and beyond.

“LM is thrilled to convene such a diverse group of leaders to participate in the leadership programs,” said Dana Pauley, President and CEO of Leadership Montgomery. “By gathering cross-sector leaders to advance thinking around regional issues, they can examine challenges and solutions from multiple perspectives.”

The EL program is designed for professionals looking to develop and grow their leadership capabilities, enhance their knowledge of Montgomery County, and build their network.  In addition to EL, LM offers other individual and leadership programs, training, and consulting services.

The 11th cohort of the EL program will run from October 2024 until May 2025.
