Gerardo Hernandez

Born and raised in El Salvador. Gerardo graduated as a Systems Engineer in El Salvador. In 2010, Gerardo started his career as a tech analyst and project coordinator. He also worked as a developer, webmaster, server administrator, IT support/help desk, Marketing/E-commerce analyst, and logistics. Gerardo moved to the United States in 2018, and joined LEDC in November 2020 as Operations Associate, coordinating different IT projects, providing technical support to the staff, and other administrative tasks.
In 2022 he joined the DCI team, as a member of the development team, where the leading role is to create custom applications or portals for grants. His skills and areas of expertise include technical support, website administrator, databases, CRM software, customer service, teamwork and positive attitude. Gerardo was raised in a little town in the east of El Salvador, Pasaquina, La Union, and his alma mater is Gerardo Barrios University (El Salvador). His goals include to increase the knowledge of web technologies and improve and create friendly web-based portals for different types of users (internal and external from LEDC). Gerardo’s hobbies include spending time with my kids, listening to music, and hiking.
