Entrepreneur Training for Success (ETS) ETS is a 3-month cohort-based program that centers around business training and enhancing leadership skills. ETS strongly emphasizes the fundamentals of micro-entrepreneurship, combined with the basics of financial literacy. The program is specifically tailored for women entrepreneurs who find themselves in the ideation and start-up stages of their businesses, seeking guidance and capacity-building support to successfully launch and grow their ventures.

The ETS program benefits include:
- Increase business and financial knowledge.
- 1-on-1 Mentorship.
- Increase confidence.
- Connect with a community of like-minded women.
- Access to continued support.
The program is led by our skilled Lead Entrepreneurship Trainers who are well-versed in EWI’s entrepreneurship training methodology. Each program participant is paired with a mentor, who guides them through developing a business plan and supports them throughout the length of the program. We also employ volunteers like industry experts, entrepreneurs, EWI alumni, and business coaches also support participants offering feedback and advice on their business plans.
Offered twice during the program cycle (Fall and Spring), the ETS program culminates with graduates presenting their business ideas at a business pitch event where they celebrate their accomplishment and receive certificates of completion. Program alumni also have access year-round to EWI Entrepreneur Support Services such as networking events, market opportunities, resources, continuing education, and more.
Students’ selection is based on an application, interview, and intake assessment, through which they must demonstrate need, a business idea, and the basic skills necessary for participation.
