Nonprofits are uniquely positioned to form partnerships to help residents and businesses thrive in today's digital economy, said LEDC Executive Director Gustavo Velasquez at the March 20th Do Something More - A Nonprofit Technology Summit.

Velasquez, the summit keynote, highlighted LEDC's 10-month partnership with Connect DC, the Digital Inclusion Initiative of the DC Chief Technology Officer, to equip more than 200 small businesses with skills and tools to boost their sales, efficiency, and market share.

"If we care about equity, we must care about technology and community partnerships," Velasquez said.
