I wanted to reach out and congratulate you on receiving the funding from the Georgetown grant!
Back in January when it started, I did not have the faintest clue about the grant writing process or its importance to non-profits. I'm not sure that there are any other courses I have taken where I have learned so much in such a short period of time especially when I knew nothing when it all started- and I owe most of that to you and the staff at LEDC! Whether we won the money or not, I would have still have had this amazing experience so the fact that we did receive all the funding we requested makes it even better for me knowing you and the community won in the end too!
Our meetings were always enjoyable and informative which made everything even more seamless and gave me so much incentive to keep going! I know now looking back that I could not have been paired with a better partner than LEDC! I really believe in what I wrote, I hope the campaign does live up to your expectations and I really hope this money somehow- even if it is in a small way- can help impact those who you serve.
