Advocacy
Local First alliances bring small business owners together in order to advocate for policies that lead to a more economically and environmentally sustainable business environment.

Networking
By connecting entrepreneurs, both new and seasoned, to each other through events and buying groups, Local First alliances strengthen individual business owners and the small business community as a whole. 

Promotion
Through “Think Local First” campaigns, LEDC educates consumers about the value of shopping at local, independent businesses.
